After installation on a Windows PC (and sometimes Linux via alternative open-source tools), the user loads a firmware package, typically an .img file or a collection of partition binaries. The tool then initiates a handshake with the Amlogic SoC via a dedicated USB port. Once connected, the process follows a distinct sequence: it erases the target storage partitions, writes the new bootloader (u-boot), and sequentially writes the remaining components, including the boot partition, system partition, and vendor data. Crucially, the tool verifies each write operation using checksums, ensuring data integrity.
