Himnario Adventista Antiguo

In every traditional Adventist church, the himnalero (hymnal leader or song leader) held a position of honor. This person would stand before the congregation, call out a number (e.g., “¡Himno número 275!” ), and often sing a line or two to establish the pitch. The congregation would rise—standing for hymns was the norm—and open their dark blue books.
