This paper examines the phrase “Rie Tachikawa Full HD” as a nexus of technological standardization, fan archiving practices, and the post-2010 Japanese adult video industry. Focusing on former AV actress Rie Tachikawa (active ca. 2011–2015), we analyze how the shift to Full HD (1080p) transformed the production, consumption, and preservation of her work.
