As she stepped through the doors, the sunlight poured through the floor-to-ceiling windows, illuminating the sleek wooden shelves that stretched toward the ceiling. Just a few years ago, the library had been confined to the walls of the old Capuchin monastery. While the monastery held centuries of secrets, it was tight and cramped.
