که در آفرینش ز یک گوهرند

"I heard that a king gave a gift to a dervish (a poor mystic), but he refused to accept it. The king said, 'O Dervish, you are fit for the company of the poor, and we are fit for the gifts of sultans.' The dervish replied, 'Your kingdom and sovereignty belong to you, and my poverty and need belong to me. Keep your kingdom, and I will keep my poverty; for the poor man is rich in his poverty.'" saadi golestan farsi
