The Marguerite de Angeli Library is the main branch of the system, located in downtown Lapeer, Michigan. Named after the beloved children’s author and illustrator Marguerite de Angeli (who lived in Lapeer County for much of her life), the library serves as both a functional public library and a small historical tribute to its namesake.
