Kaliman Radionovela
Kalimán was created in 1963 by Rafael Cutberto Muñoz and Modesto Amador for a scripted radio show on Radio Cadena Nacional (RCN) in Mexico. The character was unique from the start.
Kalimán is a mysterious, white-haired, blue-eyed man of extraordinary physical and mental abilities. Orphaned as a child and raised by a Tibetan sage in the Himalayas, he possesses vast knowledge of science, history, and the occult. Unlike typical superheroes, Kalimán relies on intellect, meditation, and illusionism rather than brute force. He travels the world battling evil—sorcerers, mad scientists, cult leaders, and despots—always protecting the innocent. His signature phrase, delivered in a calm, hypnotic voice: "Serenity and concentration… mental balance." kaliman radionovela

Kalimán never uses firearms, considering them a resource of the weak. He relies on martial arts and a small blowgun with tranquilizer darts. Kalimán was created in 1963 by Rafael Cutberto
