Extend or retract the latch tongue to match 2-3/8" or 2-3/4". Insert the latch into the edge bore. Ensure the bevel faces the door jamb. Secure with the provided wood screws. 2. Mount the Inside and Outside Trim Guide the outside housing through the bore hole. Feed the spindle through the latch center. Align the inside mounting plate on the opposite side. Fasten the two machine screws by hand. Check alignment visually before tightening completely. 3. Attach Knobs or Levers Slide the knob/lever onto the spindle. Push the rosette flush against the door face. Tighten the set screw on the neck using the hex wrench. Test the mechanical rotation for smoothness. 4. Install the Strike Plate
