With recent Windows 11 updates (specifically around builds and 25H2 ), Microsoft has begun rolling out native Windows MIDI Services , which include built-in MIDI 1.0 and 2.0 loopback capabilities. Please help me with my LoopMidi issue, i'm desperate
Before beginning, ensure your Windows 11 system is up to date. While loopMIDI is legacy software, it runs perfectly on Windows 11 thanks to the operating system's backward compatibility features. You do not need to disable Driver Signature Enforcement or enter Test Mode, as is sometimes required with older hardware drivers.
Windows 11 is efficient, but MIDI processing can suffer from latency (delay) if power settings aren't optimized.
