He weaves the lyrics of Irving Berlin’s "White Christmas"—which was played on American Armed Forces Radio as a signal to evacuate Saigon—with brutal, cinematic imagery of the city’s fall in 1975. The juxtaposition of the romantic holiday song against the backdrop of a collapsing nation creates a jarring, surreal experience that highlights the irony of the "American Dream" amidst war. 5.
