This is arguably the biggest time-saver in the 2.9 release. Previously, when you wanted to link a schematic symbol to a 3D layout item or a part, you often had to navigate through several property dialogues.
Users can now generate and place QR codes directly within their documentation. EPLAN 2.7 was notoriously picky about operating systems and was nearing its end-of-life for support. EPLAN 2.9 offers native support for Windows 10 (and compatibility with Windows 11 environments) and handles high-DPI monitors much better. If you are using 4K screens, the icons and UI in 2.9 are far sharper and easier to read than in previous iterations.
