X11-Basic is a dialect of the BASIC programming language with graphics, sound and more.
The syntax is most similar to GFA-Basic on the ATARI-ST. It is a structured dialect with no line numbers. X11-Basic supports complex numbers, big integers and big integer arithmetrics.
X11-Basic is available for UNIX workstations, Linux, Android, MAC-OSX, as well as for MS-WINDOWS. It is also available for the ATARI ST, TomTom car navigation systems and the Raspberry Pi.
A BASIC compiler is included so that you can make stand-alone binaries out of your programs (on all platforms except for Android). The X11-Basic interpreter is fast and small.

Critics of the aggressive anti-piracy stance point to a deeper systemic issue: distribution inequality. They argue that sites like Jio Rockers thrive because legal access is not always convenient. In many rural parts of Tamil Nadu, high-speed internet for streaming is unreliable, and official digital releases of new films on OTT platforms often come weeks or months after the theatrical run. To a villager with a 4G connection, Jio Rockers offers immediate gratification that legal channels do not. The Tamil film industry, popularly known as Kollywood, has witnessed an unprecedented surge in global popularity over the last decade. With cinematic masterpieces like Baahubali , Vikram , and Jailer breaking language barriers, the demand for Tamil content has skyrocketed. However, paralleling this rise in legitimate viewership is the persistent shadow of digital piracy. Among the myriad of illicit platforms facilitating this, "Jio Rockers" has emerged as a notorious name. While it provides users with free access to the latest Tamil movies, its existence poses significant ethical, legal, and economic threats to the entertainment industry. This essay explores the phenomenon of Jio Rockers, its impact on Tamil cinema, and the broader implications of digital piracy.
Yet, this argument does not justify theft. The solution to high prices and uneven distribution is not piracy but innovation—cheaper ticket schemes, simultaneous small-screen releases, and better OTT penetration. Jio Rockers is not a consumer-rights movement; it is an organized criminal enterprise that profits from ad revenue and malicious pop-ups, often exposing users to data theft and malware.
Jio Rockers is a piracy platform that leaks copyrighted content, often within hours of a movie's cinema release. Despite repeated government bans and legal crackdowns in India, the site survives by frequently changing its domain name (e.g., .co, .xyz, .live) to bypass ISP blocks.
