It is important to state clearly: X-Lite exists in a legal grey area. It is a violation of Microsoft’s Terms of Service. You cannot call Microsoft support if your X-Lite build fails. There is also the risk of the ISOs themselves; downloading a modified OS from a forum requires immense trust in the uploader. A malicious actor could easily inject a rootkit into an X-Lite ISO, and the user would be none the wiser.
