George Sr. tries to help: "Son, people make errors. Even Einstein." Sheldon: "Einstein made cosmological errors. Professor Proton forgot basic neutron decay. It's like a surgeon forgetting where the heart is."

Sheldon storms to his room to write a scathing letter. But as he writes, he stops. He realizes something: He wants to be Professor Proton’s friend, not his critic.
