Minaseakari -
Historical records suggest that minaseakari emerged as a distinct style from the traditional Japanese martial arts of jujutsu and kenjutsu. Jujutsu, a grappling-based martial art, focused on using leverage and technique to gain an advantage over an opponent, while kenjutsu, a sword-based art, emphasized the use of sharp blades to defeat an adversary. Minaseakari, however, integrated elements from both styles, incorporating flowing movements, footwork, and hand-eye coordination to create a unique and dynamic form of combat.
