You cannot run the native Hyper-V role on the 32-bit host. The hypervisor requires 64-bit extensions (SLAT). If you wanted virtualization, you had to install Virtual PC 2007 or Virtual Server 2005 R2 (SP1 only). Both were terrible compared to modern hypervisors. windows 2008 32 bit
