Mr. Doob's Ball Pool is a captivating and engaging experience that combines art, physics, and gameplay. With this guide, you're ready to dive into the world of Ball Pool, explore its depths, and join the community of enthusiasts. Happy bouncing!

If you have ever found yourself procrastinating on a computer between the years 2010 and today, you have likely encountered a browser window filled with colorful, bouncing spheres.

Try to imagine Ball Pool without sound. It’s just colored circles sliding around. The sound design is minimal but crucial. The gentle "plink-plink-plink" of the collisions turns a visual simulation into a sensory experience. It’s rhythmic, soothing, and oddly satisfying.

The movement and collisions are powered by a physics engine (often associated with the Box2D library in later adaptations) that calculates how spheres should bounce off each other and the "walls" of your browser window. To achieve the window-shaking effect, the code monitors the window.screenX and window.screenY coordinates in real-time, translating the movement of the window into physical force applied to the balls.
