In 2013, Adobe made CS2 (and its license keys) publicly available for legitimate owners of CS2. A common myth claims Adobe “released CS2 for free.” That is false. The CS2 keys were meant for existing customers only. However, Adobe never actively blocked new downloads, leading to confusion.
