Type these commands to wake the download engine back up:
net start wuauserv net start cryptSvc net start bits net start msiserver pending download windows update
Close the Command Prompt. Go back to Settings > Windows Update. Click "Check for updates." You should see the status change from Pending to Downloading within 60 seconds. Type these commands to wake the download engine
