Deepwoken Heavy Build Patched

Ethiron due to its innate bleed and consistent M1 damage. Pale Brier: A legendary heavy weapon known for its fast swing speed and unparryable critical hits, though it is often considered a niche "off-meta" choice. Recommended Talents for Heavy Builds Brutal Momentum: Highly recommended as it provides hyper armor on your next swing after a successful dodge. Knight’s Rally: One of the best talents for mitigating "shaky block" combos and maintaining posture. Showstopper & Warrior Swing: Crucial for increasing the impact of your heavy swings and breaking enemy guards. Tough Love: Provides a consistent damage buff that is standard for most high-level heavy builds. Build Strategy: The "Mantra Feint" A common high-level technique for heavy users involves

Mastering the Mountain: The Ultimate Deepwoken Heavy Build Guide In the depths of the Lumen, where one mistake sends you back to the Isle of Vigils, your choice of weapon weight class is a vow. Light whispers of agility. Medium hums with versatility. But Heavy ... Heavy screams dominance. If you want to trade blows, stagger gods, and turn the tide of a Chime duel with a single M1, the Heavy build is your calling. Here is everything you need to know to forge a true juggernaut. Why Go Heavy? The Philosophy of the Anvil Heavy weapons are not for the faint of heart. Their swing speed is glacial compared to a dagger or rapier. However, they offer three non-negotiable advantages:

Hyperarmor: When you commit to a swing, you will finish it. Light weapons can’t flinch you mid-swing. Insane Range & Hitboxes: Weapons like the Petra’s Anchor or Enforcer’s Axe catch runners and rollers with ease. Posture Damage (Guard Break): Two heavy swings often drain an enemy’s entire posture bar, leaving them open for a critical execution.

The Stat Line: 80 is the Magic Number Forget 100. In the current meta, investing 100 points into Heavy is often a waste. You want 80 Heavy Weapon . deepwoken heavy build

Why 80? This unlocks the majority of high-end heavy weapons (like the Crescent Cleaver and Railblade ) and grants the best damage-to-point ratio. Where to put the remaining 20 points? Into Strength or Fortitude .

The "Stalwart Wall" Template (Beginner Friendly)

Heavy Weapon: 80 Strength: 40 (For Strong Left and Dense Mass ) Fortitude: 50 (For Exoskeleton and To the Finish ) Willpower: 25 (For Old Habits – sanity management) Charisma: 25 (For Tough Love – free damage reduction) Intelligence: 20 (For Neuroplasticity – mantra cooldowns) Agility: 0 (You are the mountain. The mountain does not dodge.) Ethiron due to its innate bleed and consistent M1 damage

Mandatory Talents (Non-Negotiable) A Heavy build without these talents is a free kill. With them, you are a final boss.

Reinforce (Fortitude): Your heal is a block. This allows you to recover posture while holding F. Essential for PvE and PvP. Exoskeleton (Fortitude): Reduces incoming damage while swinging. Synergizes with hyperarmor to let you trade favorably. Strong Left (Strength): Your M1s apply a mini-stun. This prevents light weapon users from rolling out between your first and second swing. Dense Mass (Strength): Increases posture damage. You will guard break faster. Lightspeed Reflexes (Agility – optional dip): If you can spare 25 Agility, take this. It counters the biggest weakness of Heavy: Mantra dodging.

Best Heavy Weapons (Ranked) | Weapon | Why It Works | Best For | | :--- | :--- | :--- | | Enforcer’s Axe | The Crit (Hold M1) is a 360-degree spin. Catches everyone who tries to roll behind you. | PvP Brawling | | Petra’s Anchor | Highest base damage. The Crit pulls enemies toward you. | Ganking / Sharko farming | | Railblade | Fast for a Heavy weapon. The Crit is a projectile. | Mix-ups / Chime | | Crescent Cleaver | Bleed damage + Excellent running attack. | Chasing runners | Mantras You Must Slot Knight’s Rally: One of the best talents for

Onslaught (Strength): A lunge that scales with Heavy. Use it to close gaps. Gravity Field (Attunementless): Slows enemies. A slow enemy is a dead enemy when you have a 15-pound axe. Flame Repulsion (Flamecharm): Creates distance. Heavy builds need breathing room to reset their swing timing. Wind Step (Galebreathe): A dash. Take this if you skipped Agility entirely.

How to Fight (The Heavy Rotation) Do not spam M1. That is how you get parried and punished.
