The first booth was chaotic—in the best way. One Brownie forgot the money box. Another got shy with customers. But instead of panicking, they solved problems together. The shy girl held the cookie boxes while her teammate did the talking. Another ran back to the car for the money box.

Earning the badge is a milestone for Girl Scout Juniors (grades 4–5). While younger scouts focus on the basics of selling, Juniors take a step up into leadership and operations, learning that a successful cookie business thrives on collaboration and strategic planning. But instead of panicking, they solved problems together

After our final booth, we celebrated with a cookie-themed party (naturally). Each girl received her and a certificate. We also wrote thank-you notes to parents who helped with booths—another teamwork bonus.

I learned that being a good team player means listening to others, sharing ideas, and supporting each other. We all had different strengths and weaknesses, but together, we made an amazing team.
