A command prompt window will appear and then disappear quickly. That is normal. If you open your Task Manager, you should see setup.exe running and utilizing network bandwidth. It is silently downloading all the Office apps.
Once the command prompt closes (no progress bar—you have to watch your hard drive space increase), navigate to: %programdata%\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Installer Inside is the full offline installer. Copy that folder to keep forever. office 365 download offline installer
