(often spelled Neer Dosa ) translates literally to "Water Dosa" in the Tulu and Kannada languages. Unlike its famous cousin, the Masala Dosa, which is heavy, fermented, and often served with a potato filling, the Neerdose is light, lacey, soft, and requires no fermentation.
