Why bother with CS4 plugins in the modern age?

Before Google and DxO, Nik was the gold standard for color correction and HDR. The older versions are perfectly compatible with CS4.

First, a quick clarification: almost always refers to Adobe Creative Suite 4 (released 2008), which included Photoshop CS4, Illustrator CS4, InDesign CS4, After Effects CS4, etc.

Using CS4 in the current era doesn't have to feel like using a typewriter. By strategically installing the right plugins, you can maintain a high-speed, professional workflow without the monthly subscription costs of newer versions.

CS4 used an older 32-bit plugin architecture. Many modern plugins are 64-bit only and won’t work in CS4.
