You can open native .mpp files (ProjectLibre uses a reverse-engineered filter – works for MS Project 2003–2016, though complex 2019+ files may lose some formatting). Exporting to .mpp is also possible, plus PDF, CSV, and HTML. For teams stuck in MS Project format, this is a lifesaver.
From here, you can start creating tasks, assigning durations, linking dependencies, and generating your Gantt charts. When you are done, simply save your project file (.pod) to the same USB drive, close the program, and eject the drive safely.
