This means a "cold start" (turning the device on after a long time) could take anywhere from 2 to 10 minutes to get a lock. If you are driving in a dense city with tall buildings, the signal drift is real and frustrating.

For the uninitiated, iGO (developed by Hungary-based Nav N Go) was the aftermarket software of choice for millions of generic GPS units.
