Requirements:

Asus Zenfone 8 (Model: ZS590KS or I006D) A computer (Windows, Linux, or macOS) ADB and Fastboot tools installed on your computer

Download Platform Tools (ADB and Fastboot) from the official Android developer site.

USB cable Backup of your data (Unlocking the bootloader will erase all data on your device)

Steps to Unlock the Bootloader: Step 1: Enable Developer Options and OEM Unlocking

Go to Settings > About phone. Tap on Build number 7 times to enable Developer options. Go back to Settings > Developer options. Scroll down and toggle on OEM Unlocking.

Step 2: Install ADB and Fastboot

Extract the Platform Tools to a convenient location on your computer.

Step 3: Connect Your Device to the Computer

Connect your Asus Zenfone 8 to the computer with a USB cable. On your phone, you might see a prompt asking for USB debugging permission. Grant it.
