The digitization of Indian languages has seen exponential growth in the last two decades. Among the twenty-two scheduled languages of India, Gujarati holds a significant position, spoken by over 60 million people worldwide. The transition from physical typesetting to digital typography necessitated the development of robust fonts that could handle the complex rendering of the Gujarati script, which is an abugida derived from the Devanagari script.
