Energetic and bustling. The beach is massive, allowing for crowds to spread out, but the energy is unmistakably fun. The Sand: The famous "sugar sand." It is 99% pure quartz, which means it is incredibly soft and, unlike other beaches, it doesn't burn your feet even on the hottest days. Amenities: This is the most equipped beach on the key. You’ll find large parking lots (free, but fill up early), lifeguards year-round, restrooms, showers, a playground, volleyball courts, and a concession stand called "The Siesta Key Breeze" for snacks and rentals.
