Windows Fonts Location _top_ -

Many critical fonts (like segmdl2.ttf for icons, or marlett.ttf for window controls) are present but set as "Hidden" in the folder view. To see them, open Folder Options and check "Show hidden files, system files, and drives".

If you plan to clean up unused fonts, do not delete standard Windows fonts (Arial, Times New Roman, Segoe UI, Calibri, Tahoma, Marlett, etc.). Deleting a required system font can break dialog boxes or the Start Menu. Always back up the entire C:\Windows\Fonts folder first. windows fonts location
