This is a prequel (and partial sequel) focusing on Saul Goodman. It ran for six seasons and is critically acclaimed in its own right. While it doesn't add seasons to the Breaking Bad count, it adds context to the world, featuring many of the same characters (Mike, Gus, Saul, and eventually Walter and Jesse).

When the final season aired, AMC marketed it as "The Final Season," but they aired it in two batches of eight episodes. The first batch aired in summer 2012, and the second batch aired in summer 2013. Because there was a year-long gap between the halves, many streaming services (like Netflix in certain regions) label the final eight episodes as "Season 6" for organizational clarity.
